Terms of Service
Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Active Chiropractic website and the services we offer. Please read them carefully. They are written in plain language so you know exactly what to expect when you visit us online or in our Windsor clinic.
Last updated: October 9, 2026
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using this website at drangelini.ca and the services offered by Active Chiropractic (the "Clinic"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or book an appointment through it.
2. About Our Services
Active Chiropractic provides chiropractic care, registered massage therapy, custom orthotics, and related services from our clinic at 824 Tecumseh Rd. East, Windsor, ON N8X 2S3. Our practitioners are regulated by the College of Chiropractors of Ontario and other applicable professional colleges. Booking an appointment through this website reserves a time with the Clinic; it does not guarantee a specific diagnosis or outcome. Every treatment plan is tailored to the individual following an in-person assessment.
3. Not a Substitute for Medical Advice
The information on this website, including our online symptom questionnaire and any recommendations it generates, is provided for general educational purposes only. It is not intended to be, and should not be relied upon as, medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment plan. The online assessment is a starting point to help you understand which of our services may help and to guide you toward booking an in-clinic visit. Always seek the advice of a qualified health professional with any questions you have about a medical condition. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read on this website.
4. Appointments, Cancellations & No-Shows
Initial assessments are scheduled for approximately one hour and follow-up visits are shorter. We value your time and ask that you give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows us to offer the time slot to another patient who may be in pain and waiting. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in a cancellation fee and, in some cases, a requirement to prepay for future bookings. We understand that life happens — if something comes up, just call us at (519) 256-8966 and we will do our best to help.
5. Fees & Billing
Our current fees are an initial visit of $85 and subsequent visits of $48, subject to change. Where possible, we direct-bill your extended health care insurer so you only pay the portion your plan does not cover. If your plan cannot be billed directly, we will provide an official receipt for you to submit. Any outstanding balance not covered by insurance is due at the time of service. For details, see our Insurance & Direct Billing page.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, the Active Chiropractic brand, and the website design — is the property of Active Chiropractic or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark laws. You may view and print pages from this website for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of this site without our prior written consent.
7. Third-Party Links & Tools
This website may link to or embed third-party services, including online booking (Juvonno), review platforms, and maps. We provide these for your convenience but do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those external services. When you leave our site to use a third-party service, their terms and privacy policies apply.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Active Chiropractic and its practitioners, staff, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or reliance on any information provided here. Your use of the website and any treatment you receive at the Clinic is at your own risk. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable Ontario law.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our practice, the law, or the way our website works. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were last revised. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising out of your use of this website or the Clinic's services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
